The Great Lakes Water Conservation Workshop offers online registration, payment via PayPal or by check,  limited to 60 attendees, with no exhibits or commercial platforms. A discount is available for registrations received through the end of February. As of March 15, the registration fee increases.

After March 23, no online registrations will be accepted, and the onsite registration is payable by cash or check only.

Tickets for the tasting and reception at Wegmans Pittsford NY are open to the public, advance purchase only (see link below).


Dress is casual and comfortable. This is a 100% non-smoking event.

    $55.00 before March 15, 2010 - includes continental breakfast, buffet lunch and beer/cheese tasting
    $75 after March 15, 2010

    Half day rate of $35 (afternoon sessions to include cheesemakers), from 1-6 pm, arrive after lunch, includes beer and cheese tasting in the evening.

    If a weather event, declared emergency or disaster prevents the workshop from taking place, no refunds are available. If the conference is cancelled by F&B Communications LLC for a reason other than those stated above, your full registration will be refunded. By registering for the conference, you agree to the terms above, and to observe the rules of the Rochester Museum & Science Center while on its premises (a nonsmoking facility).

    For out-of-town visitors: The closest hotels are the Hyatt Regency and the Inn on Broadway. Your best bets for booking are online, but also check out the www.VisitRochester.com site.

    Join us for a sampling of fantastic craft beers and specialty cheeses, and mingle with brewers and attendees of the Great Lakes Water Conservation Workshop, held in downtown Rochester, NY. This tasting is open to the public, and features craft beers from attending breweries, including Custom BrewCrafters, Great Lakes Brewing Co., High Falls Brewing, Ommegang, Saranac and more. Artisan cheeses include New York's Yancey's and Wisconsin's Carr Valley Cheese Co. and more. Appetizers from the famous Wegmans catering. The event starts at 5 PM, and includes displays from sponsor Briggs of Burton USA, maker of brewing equipment for more than 200 years since its founding in Burton-on-Trent UK.
